Comfort Zones

So I am being tempted to jump out of my comfort zone and apply for a different job. It's kind of strange, really. I feel like I am supposed to apply, but also that I won't get the job. I don't really care, I love the job I have. I guess it's good to challenge yourself with new things, maybe that's what this is about. I can't imagine doing the same job for 10+ more years.
I am reading Stephen King's book, Lisey, and talk about jumping out of your comfort zone. She has to do that several times. But the book is also making me think a lot about what it would be like if my husband died. Just living alone, taking care of things by yourself, also the freedom of not answering to another person. I think it would suck. I love my life, my husband, everything about marriage. Growing old with someone who knows the true you, I mean, we think the same thoughts. There definately is something to the scripture that says you become one.
How did I get from there to here? My thoughts are rambling, I am excited because I have a date for tomorrow night to get up at 1 or 2 am and watch the meteor showers. Lying in the lounge chairs under the stars, maybe sharing a glass of wine or a kiss. I love my comfortable comfort zone with my soul mate.
