The Miracle of Birth

If you have never seen a baby be born, I highly recommend it. I don't mean when you are the mother, but when someone else is doing the pushing. It is beyond words. It is a new spirit coming to earth to begin a journey. It is to witness a genuine miracle.

My beautiful daughter-in-law is about to give birth. She is on my mind constantly. They say you come closest to death without dying, while bringing another life into the world. I don't know about that, but it is an event like no other. My prayers are for her. She will be fine.

The first birth I witnessed was of my first grandson, Logan. His head was crowning and Casey (his mom) reached down and touched his head and started crying. When he was born, the nurse put him into my arms and I looked at him and he looked at me and the world was forever changed. I became a grandmother.

How anyone cannot believe in God is beyond my comprehension. Look around at all the miracles. He is everywhere. Too bad man had to mess it up.
