Life's Lessons

So in thinking of going thru the valleys of life, the question is always WHY??? Well, why not? Some say that life is God's school. If we rescue people out of their bad situations, then we take them out of God's school and somewhere down the road they will have to learn the lesson another way. But sometimes it's nice to be rescued. Sometimes it's more than we can handle and if we wait then maybe we can handle it better at a later time.

When my mother gets on her gulit trip about having to live with me, I tell her she's building character in me. When I go thru times of not enough money and God always provides, it builds perseverance in me. When I see children without faces and people with holes in their eyes and joints disintegrating, it makes realize how blessed I am and makes me want to be kinder than necessary. When I hear of sickness and pain, I know that death is not the worst thing that can happen.

So it is fall. I look at the trees in all their brilliant colors and I see God's glory. If he can do that here, can you imagine what heaven will be like? All these lessons that we must walk thru, it will be worth it in the end when we see Him face to face.
